Death is a very dull, dreary affair, and my advice to you
is to have nothing whatsoever to do with it.
W. Somerset MaughamThis memorial website was created to remember our dearest
Audrey Sheehan ,(known by the name of Toni) who was born in
Minnesota on
October 26, 1923 and passed away on
November 25, 2007 at the age of
84. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.
Dear Jaymee, When I met Toni at the skilled nursing facility, the first thing that came to my mind was, "What a beautiful lady!" Her eyes, especially, were so pretty and expressive. She could easily have been an older version of Victoria Principal! That initial visit with her was so nice. We talked for a while; she showed me pictures of her grandson, I showed her pictures on my cell phone of my two young grandsons and new baby granddaughter! We really connected there! Anyway, when she moved to my board and care, Bethel Home, I had the pleasure of taking care of her and getting to know her a bit more. She was sweet, very independent and friendly. The disease that assaulted her body changed much of that but my memory of her will always be of her first few days at Bethel Home. She sampled my "lumpia" (egg roll), laughed at my song and dance rendition of "Oh What a Beautiful Morning," and joked with my husband, Oscar. I miss Toni and wish I could have served her longer, but I know it's for the best that she's been liberated from her sick body. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Jaymee and Brad! Love, Lynn
Hi Jaymee,
I was so sorry to hear that you Mom is gone. I
know that she is out of
pain and for her, maybe it is best but it leaves
such a hole in
daughters' hearts. I know because I was missing my mom and
my aunt
today. So I pray for both of you and for Brad. I could tell she
was
very fond of her grandson when she talked about him to me that night
at
the party. I am happy that
George and I got to meet her that night.
Thanks for including us on you
list.
With love,
Louise

Dear Jayme, Brad and Family,
May God comfort you all at this very difficult time. Find comfort knowing that "Toni" is no longer hurting and that she is again "doing things HER way!" What a beautiful, charming lady. Cherish the memories & relive the goodtimes and the laughes. (I am betting that there were plenty of those! -Just guessing from the short but memoriable times that she touched my heart ) Our Deepest Sympathy ~ Brenda & Every one @Hospice of the Desert.
